Feels like
Feels like
A smooth, grounding aroma that feels like warm amber and aged wood with a whisper of leather — deep, earthy and quietly luxurious. Revered in India as Chandan, true Sandalwood (Santalum album) is prized for its woody, creamy, softly balsamic sweetness that lingers long after the cone has burned.
Each cone is masterfully hand-crafted in small batches using traditional methods, formed from plant-based, earth-derived heartwood that honors centuries of sacred use. Includes 20 small-batch Sandalwood backflow cones of premium incense, made for use with a backflow burner during meditation or creative work.
Sandalwood is said to resonate at a frequency of 98 MHz — a deeply grounding, stabilizing vibration that balances the Root Chakra and promotes unity of mind and body. This timeless woody scent enhances creativity and mental clarity while anchoring your space in stillness.
Great for
Great for
Great for inviting grounding, focus and a sense of inner stillness into your space. Sandalwood has been used for millennia to calm the mind and body — traditionally believed to reduce anxiety and stress, sharpen focus, and prepare the senses for deep rest and restorative sleep.
The rich sandalwood aroma supports creativity and clarity while elevating the ambient vibration of the room toward inner peace. Its slow, rhythmic burn and softly falling smoke make it a natural physical anchor for Trataka practice, drawing the eyes and the mind into calm, single-pointed attention.
When to use?
When to use?
Burn Sandalwood cones during meditation, deep work, or quiet evenings when you want to reconnect with yourself. It is the classic companion for seated practice — light a cone before you begin and let its stabilizing warmth settle the body into the present moment.
Reach for it whenever the day feels scattered and you need to return to centre, or in the hour before sleep to quiet a busy mind. Its warm, woody scent anchors the room in calm, most beautifully experienced with the Ornaument Serenity Kit's handcrafted holder.

I grew up with my grandmother burning chandan and most Western sandalwood incense smells nothing like it. This is the real profile: creamy, woody, warm. It brought back memories instantly.
I use these before meditation and the difference is noticeable. The scent is heavy enough to anchor you but never smoky-harsh. Photo of the cones attached; they're noticeably denser than any I've bought before.
Sensitive nose here: most incense makes my sinuses burn within minutes. Burned a full cone of these in the living room with zero irritation. Whatever they use, it's clean.
Sandalwood is the scent everyone thinks they know until they smell a good one. This is rich without being churchy. My whole main floor smells like a spa for hours.
I light one about an hour before bed and let it finish while I read. I fall asleep noticeably faster. Could be placebo, but it's a placebo I'm keeping.
